Markso Editor for Confluence ("Markso", "we", "our") is a Confluence Cloud plugin developed by Agilva Solutions. This policy explains what data Markso collects, how it is used, and what it never does. Markso is built on Atlassian Forge — all data remains within Atlassian infrastructure.
Markso collects one item of user data:
| Data | What it is | Where stored |
|---|---|---|
| Dark mode preference | A single boolean (on/off) per user | Atlassian Forge KV Store, keyed by Atlassian account ID |
No name, email address, profile data, or any other personal information is collected.
All data resides within the customer's Atlassian Cloud instance and Atlassian's Forge infrastructure. Atlassian's own data residency controls apply. Markso has no independent data residency configuration because it stores no data outside Atlassian.
None. Markso uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or APIs at runtime. All libraries are bundled at build time.
User preferences (dark mode) persist until the app is uninstalled or the user clears them. No other data is retained by Markso. Markdown content stored in macro parameters is part of your Confluence pages — retention follows your Confluence page retention workflow.
Uninstalling Markso from your Confluence site removes all Forge KV Store data automatically via Atlassian's Forge lifecycle hooks. Markdown content stored in macro parameters is part of your Confluence pages — deletion follows your Confluence page deletion workflow.
Markso does not knowingly collect any information from children. The plugin is a professional productivity tool intended for use by Confluence Cloud workspace members.
If this policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of Markso after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
